One useful strat I use with Engineer is placing 2 mines almost on top of each other. Basically I never just 'Disable' a vehicle anymore, I Kill it! If you randomly litter them around they show up much easier and don't really do enough damage to count (except for jeeps). I tend to throw down in shadows or grassy tuffs or rocks in the road to hide them that much better. Probably not anything unheard of for most of you but it's a pointer for anyone newer or maybe who just unlocked mines. Most would argue that repair is way more useful to equip than mines. If you start with mines and lay them quickly then next time you re-spawn just equip repair tool. 6 minutes later you might get a lucky mine kill. Full jeeps are always a delightful bonus :gap:
