Server Fluffing

Hey guys, so this is a thing that BGMurder brought up that we've been thinking about. It's Server Fluffing. Basically we have guys that will leave themselves signed into the server and actually in the game but not necessarily playing to keep the server active, you could do this while your at school or at work etc. we were hoping we could get this started because it would really keep the server running people would join if they see numbers.

So yeah, uhh if you think you could be able to do so just give us a post here.

This really works ya'll, and once the server starts getting popular, it will be full often, and we could offer reserved slots for non clan regulars who fluff 3x or more a week. Also we should start getting input from people about what maps/game types they like, and see if we could create some kind of map cycle?

Oh and I can fluff every morning. (As long as I don't sleep in accidently)

Misguided but if we keep it populated around 4 ppl and they will join up we are at work,and if no other ppl join will they leave then.

Well, my wife calls them fluffs but I call them farts. Preference I guess. = D

Hmm quite worried as to what convo i have just joined lol. And sound like a good idea. Not the farting i should add i mean the fluffing/farting or whatever it is :haha:

Lol! Ive done it with other servers, works well but have to have an admin with a mobile admin tool to kick fluffers as it fills up

I'd be willing to lend my computer to the cause. I normally leave it on anyways so I can run Folding@Home. Personally I'd like to see something other than 24/7 Oasis though. I do like the map, but it gets old after a while. A rotation helps keep things fresh. Personally I'm a fan of anything that involves flying choppers :P
