We have a new graphic for our forums. The scope that now shows up on the left side of posts. Dark is a forum that does not contain a new post. Bright when it does. What do you think of them?

They need to be cut out better as you can see the white edges around them, and the .gif quality is not very good, need to bring the quality up. but looks nice other than that. Good job.

Yeah the problem with the files is that I had to send them to him from me so in order for him to make them so the white edges are gone he would need the PSD file even though in my PSD file the background is transparent

If you send them in .png format it'll keep the transparent background.
That and the internet works on .png and .jpg, so gogogo .png.

Don't use .jpg for transparent images, it doesn't work. .png is the only format that'll work with transparent images that you want to put out on the webs.

PNG Alpha transparency works great. Back in IE 6.0 and below days Alpha transparency was not supported for IE, but since then it's been supported so you can use it.

Actually it's a glow around the edge of the scope I'll work on it. .jpg doesn't support transparency but, I'm better than letting that be a problem. lol
I like png because it supports transparency and is usually a smaller file size. The gif works also but you usually lose a little quality. The gif is good for animated stuff though.

.
And how did the computer forget how to compute a percentage?
It didn't, lol.
4 / 6969427132 = 0.000000000573935264
That's close enough to zero that it'll say it's zero (especially when it rounds to 2 digits), lol. Likewise:
6969427127 / 6969427132 = 0.999999999
That's close enough to 1 to be 100% when you round to 2 digits as well, lol.
