UAF has many departments to choose from. Once you graduate from the academy, you will have a chance to work in one of your choosing. You can join as many as you wish. Keep in mind however that the more you take onto your shoulders, the more is required of you. Don't blame it on High Command if you have bitten off more than you can chew. Only select which positions you KNOW you can handle. If you cannot handle positions you may be asked to resign some of them.

Members may be booted from departments by the department CO and the department CO has the ability to recruit in more members for his/her department. The GOA may appoint or remove department CO's or squad CO's at will if he thinks it is necessary.

This department is responsible for training new members of the clan. ACCOM teaches recruits the ropes of UAF and gives them assistance in-game and on the forums. ACCOM is also responsible for giving members interviews before they are passed into squads. Note: Each applicant to this department is interviewed so the CO can get a better idea of his strong points and leadership qualities.


United Armed Forces has a Diplomacy Department, to conduct and control the external affairs of UAF.
UAF shall support 3 different Statuses:

We will aid this clan in time of war and in hardships and expect the same in return. This is a status that is thought over well before we make one. We do not just jump right on into an Alliance.

When two clans are interested in becoming an alliance, the time during the alliance talks we are Netural. We are to not harm this clan in anyway as we want of course for the alliance to go through. UAF should be respectful in any way and we should expect the same in return.

When UAF has exhausted all forms of peace and we still can not live in harmony we can declare war upon the opposing clan. UAF however is a peaceful clan and would not like it to get to war. War is a last resort. Whether is be for moral or personal reasons UAF will go to war if need be. We are not a push-over clan and a force to be reckoned with.

You can't be in both. It is a huge security breach. They are like the CIA and FBI you cant be in both and keep some stuff from each other but tell each other the vitals.


Searches for information about pertinent subjects. If a clan is doing things that are against our constitution and we are pact with them, Intel will investigate the matter and find the truth. Intel can mask as someone they are not, to obtain information. They can do anything that does not break another clan's constitution or our own. They also work internally in UAF gathering info on any plot to destroy it from the inside. Also searching for the members involved, and gaining evidence to support their theory.
Intel information is only seen by UAF High Command, and admins of the forums.


The Media department is the department that has the members that are skilled in photo editing/Graphic making. These people fill the requests of other UAF members that ask for sigs/avatars.


The news department constantly searches for the latest news to post in the public and internal news forums. This can be Battlefield 2142 news, UAF news, News from other clans, News about the latest clan pacts, and wars, battle scores, and other news wherever it comes. News can be brought from other sources, such as the main Battlefield 2142 site, or other Battlefield 2142 sites, or even real world news. The sources that news department members use MUST be reliable. We do not want to give our members news that is not from reliable sources.


Puts together events both in game and outside of game. Sets up times to get together, and places. They set up meetings within the clan, and do what they can to get people to be there. Oversee's events, keeps scores on Battles fought in wars, or clan scrims. Sets up wars or clan scrims, and sets up different things to do to have fun.


Handles mostly internal UAF security. Monitoring the forums for language, profanity, or plots to destroy the clan. Defends the UAF constitution, and sends offenders to the High Command. Security moderates the UAF forums. They help in finding information about suspected hackers and run along side the Intel team in investigations. Security is a department in which you can only join at the General of the Army's or the department head's discretion. As security gives members added forum permissions we have to be extra careful.


We at UAF relize that members have issues with their games/computers and in order to form a more active clan we have assembled a team of computer savvy people to assit you. You can simply fill out a request form and let us know what your problem is about. Then very shortly a Tech Support member will be with you in order to help figure it out with you.


Treasury Department is that department that raises money for all of UAF's Spending needs. They raise money for the UAF server and hold events where members can win prizes.


The Webteam are the people that keep the website and forums maintained. They're skilled in the Web languages of HTML, CSS and PHP. Not only do they keep the website maintained and shiny new, they keep the forums up to date and clean.
