UAF Battlefield clan values
UAF Rule-Book
1. No Profanity
2. No Sexual talk or Innuendo's when used in a profane way
3. No Threats, Flaming, Put downs
4. No posting Gang related articles, pictures, sigs, etc.
5. No posting ANYTHING Racist.
Racism:
--The belief that race accounts for differences in human character or ability and that a particular race is superior to others.
--Discrimination or prejudice based on race.
Racism can even be saying one race should have more rights than other races, or be eligible for things that other races are not. That is not equality, that is favoritism, and it's not wanted here!
6. No Hacking! Anyone found making, using, or selling hacks in UAF will be kicked immediately.
7. No Mutinee's. Anyone trying to mutinee in UAF will be kicked immediately.
8. No Multi Clanning. This means no joining any other Battlefield 2142 clans while in United Armed Forces. This is prohibited. You may however join a clan that does not support the same games that we do.
9. No Poaching. This means stealing other clan's members or recruiting from other clans. This is strictly prohibited.
10. No Sexist remarks. This is basically the same as racism. No discrimination based on Sex will be tolerated.
11. Follow the Chain of Command. This means if you are in a squad, go to your squad or squad commander for help. If no one is there to help, go to the Help and Questions forum, or private message a person. DO NOT go to high command unless you are a fellow high command member, or unless it is very important. High Command have a lot on their shoulders leading the clan, we can't answer endless questions all day long that other people can answer for you.
12. Respect superior officers at ALL times. It is mandatory to use Sir when addressing a superior officer. This is a military clan. Even if you do not like what that person is saying or doing, respect their rank. If they are doing something you do not like, private message your squad leader about it. If it's important enough, then you may go to high command, but only if.
13. Follow orders from your superior officers. If you do not agree with their orders, or it goes against your morals, private message your squad commander about the issue. If the person in question IS a squad commander, private message a High command member about the situation. NEVER leave an issue unsolved.
14. Never berate another officer, or put them down. Never belittle another officer. ALWAYS respect your fellow officers, even if they are of a lower rank than you. That does not mean call them sir, it means they are a person just like you, and have a right to be respected just as you do.
15. Never mouth off to High Command, or higher-ranking officers. If you have a problem with something, be respectful and private message them about the situation. If they are not willing to clear the issue up, then private message your squad leader, or high command if it's that important.
16. ALWAYS use proper etiquette. If you wish to speak your mind to a higher-ranking officer say, "May I speak freely, Sir?" That way they have a choice whether or not to allow you to speak your mind to them openly.
17. Leaving a conversation that has higher-ranking officers in it always ask to be excused. It is rude and disrespectful to leave without any sort of warning. If you do not enjoy the fact that they invited you into the conversation, tell them nicely that you would like not to be bugged, but don't be rude. If they persist, then you need to contact your squad leader about it, or high command if you must.
18. Higher ranking officers MUST have a good reason if they are issuing orders. They must NEVER issue orders just to be bossy, or controlling. If they do, they should be reported and will be punished accordingly. Abusing your rank is a serious offense, and will be treated as such.
19. Officers on leave should come back around the time they say they are going to be back. If they do not, their position in any departments are not guaranteed. Departments need active people running them.
20. Anyone going on leave without posting it may be booted from the clan for inactivity, or booted from any positions they may hold within the clan.
21. Not being active in your department or position will result in being booted from it. All departments and positions need active people running them, or there is no point having them.
22. Lying will result in punishment. Lying is not wanted here in UAF, and is considered a serious offense. We don't believe a liar has any place here in the clan.
23. Stealing images, songs, breaking copyright laws, and anything under that category is an offense. DO NOT do this. You will be kicked from UAF. This includes using songs you don't have permissions to use on videos, posting copyrighted videos or material on the forums or other such offenses.
24. Treason is prohibited. Treason means betraying UAF to another clan, or organization. It also means doing anything to harm UAF while you are in it.
25. Remember, anything you do to a fellow UAF officer, you are doing to UAF as a whole.
26. Begging and other immature behavior is prohibited. Do not beg, or act immature or you will be punished, or booted. We do not like begging and immature behavior here. Begging and immaturity is irritating, and a nuisance.
27. Reports MUST be handed in by all UAF members at least once a week, in the reports forum to let high command know you are active. If you do not, you risk being booted from the clan for inactivity in-game.
28. Reports must be handed in by ALL department CO's, XO's, and members as to how the department is going, and what you have been up to lately. Failure to do so may result in being booted from that department or position.
29. If you resign from the clan, please post your resignation in the resignation forums. That way high command knows.
30. If you go on leave, always post it in the leave forums. If you post it anywhere else, it will be counted as not being posted at all.
31. Cheating and using macros are STRICTLY prohibited. Anyone using these will be immediately banned and booted from the clan.
32. ALL Battlefield 2142 online play rules MUST be followed. If not, it will result in punishment in the clan.
33. Scamming or deceiving anyone whether they are in UAF or not is strictly prohibited.
34. Password scamming is strictly prohibited
35. Account sharing/Trading is strictly prohibited [except for same household members]
36. DO NOT post any material that could be considered to be promoting immoral or illegal behavior, even if posting it is not illegal.
37. Asking for personal details about a person is prohibited.
38. Use of any outside programs in Battlefield 2142 that give you an unfair advantage is prohibited. This includes any and all macros, bots, autoers, etc.
39. Slandering other religions is prohibited. It's okay to state your opinion, or state what you believe, and even that you believe something is wrong for whatever reason. It is NOT okay to make fun of, or slander another person's belief.
40. Taking these rules out of context or abusing them for your own benefit is prohibited. For instance, if you use rule 39, to say that someone is slandering your belief that the Kentucky fried chicken kernel was actually a God, because they thought that was funny, you would be breaking rule number 46, that states not to abuse these rules or take them out of context. I do not believe in political correctness garbage, and I won't tolerate it. Another example is using the rule about being racist, against someone who is talking about the Nazi's in World War 2 because you are German. DO NOT go overboard on political correctness, it is not wanted. I do not want to hear people get ticked because someone did not say "American Indian" or "mentally challenged" instead of retarded. I don't want to hear people getting ticked for hearing the word "spaz" or anything stupid like that. I think everyone should be respected yes, but I WILL NOT tolerate going over board on these things. It seriously gets ridiculous.
41. Spamming is prohibited. If you post something in the forums, make sure it's important enough to post. Spamming is posting needless, unwanted posts. It can even be posting very short messages, like "ok" or hello" etc. Posting just to get your post count up is not wanted. If you want to get your post count up make meaningful posts and be active on the forums every day.
42. Always use your Battlefield 2142 name on the forums, that way things are not confusing for people.
43. Always use your Battlefield 2142 name on messengers
44. On Messengers, use tags that include the clan name, your current rank, and your name. Abbreviations may be used. For instance, mine would be [UAF]GOA_wolfcry044. You may play around with it a bit; just make sure it says the clan name, your rank, and your Battlefield 2142 name somewhere in there.
45. You may be in more than one department at a time see the Departments section for info.
46.Do Not abuse these rules of take them out of context.
-------If someone has broken the rules above, it should be reported to your Squad Commander or High Command. Only High Command may boot members from the clan. Anyone booted from the clan has the right to try to join UAF again, unless High Command states they cannot join again. If they do join again, that person's rank will be reset to the rank of Recruit 1st year, and will have to start over.
