Well, what can I say. Battlefield 4 is the gift that keeps on giving. DICE did us dirty, again, with a botched release. Now we must choose; do we make the best of the platform we have now and potentially become the de-facto competitive scene for BF4, or seek out other games?
Squad Wars Champions
2042 has come and gone, yet some things never change. There were no Cinderella stories this season as Bravo captured a historic seventh title to make it four championships in five seasons. This is their second back-to-back stint. Will they get the opportunity to three-peat? Time will tell, but one thing is sure, they are UAF's first dynasty. The long wait for MechNL is over, winning their first finals appearance after seven years. They defeated Charlie four games to zero, with three games going to overtime.
Regular Season Champions
Bravo Squad was the best team in the regular season, with 41 points, 18 wins, 7 losses, and 5 ties. This is their fifth regular season title.
Playoffs Most Valuable Player
The player deemed most valuable to their team during the playoffs is JohnnyMacintosh! Their leadership and tactical depth played a large role in Bravo's 4-0 sweep of Charlie in the finals; yielding a single MCOM the entire series. Congratulations!
Regular Season Most Valuable Player
The player deemed most valuable to their team during the regular season is AlexMenendez from Charlie Squad. They played one of, if not their best seasons as a player, and it's doubtful Charlie would of had the season they did without them. Congratulations!
Best Squad Leader
Awarded to the squad leader judged to have contributed the most to his team's success, this award goes to Semi63 from Alpha Squad. Sometimes being a squad leader is not about winning games, but holding things together in dire straits. Semi63 held the line for Alpha. Congratulations!
Rookie of the Season
Awarded to the rookie judged to have contributed the most to his team's success, this award goes to Dpace from Charlie Squad. Being tossed into a league full of veterans is never easy. Even if they were the only rookie, they played a huge role on Charlie and were critical to their success as a team. Congratulations!
